One of our single family residential projects, Pacific Rim Residence, was recently nominated for the highly esteemed Interior Designer’s Institute of BC (IDIBC) Awards of Excellence.*
The residence underwent an integrated design process at site lines, in which the client, interior and exterior designers work together from the early stages of the project to produce the final outcome. This innovative approach offers a myriad of benefits to both the designers and the client. Among these is a seamless flow between the interior and exterior design along with unique and creative design solutions as the designers continually dialogue and bounce ideas off of each other from start to finish, gathering our clients’ input along the way.
The integrated design process is one of the tools that site lines architecture uses in order to come alongside our clients and translate what we hear into the building meant for the user, living out our motto to work smart... design well... and savour the challenge.

2/10/2009 CLMR awarded LEED® Canada Silver
The Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC) has presented CareLife Maple Ridge (CLMR) with a LEED Canada Silver certification label. The design process for the multi-level care facility began early in 2004 and reached completion in September of 2006. site lines architecture collaborated with consultants, construction managers, Lark Projects, and subtrades to achieve this level of sustainable design and construction.
The CaGBC’s LEED® program is a rating system that serves as a third-party certification process for green building design and construction. Furthermore, the system is developed by individuals in both design and construction industries, which contributes to a more well-rounded and accurate definition of the term “green.”
This project's LEED® certification is another example of the movement towards green building and sustainability, as we work towards reducing the environmental impact of new buildings. A complete listing of LEED® certified projects in Canada is available on the CaGBC website.
