Stunning mountain views and the sloping site were major factors in this custom home design.  The natural grade was embraced as it provided an opportunity to capture the main view from two levels.  The roof composition presented a challenge that was resolved using a combination of sweeping low slope timber frame and a moderate pitched mono slope metal clad roof.  The recovered barn timbers used for the siding have produced a rustic look, unifying the home with its hillside surroundings.
